Testo di IDEATION. – HERMIT OF THE HILLS

Lost, and fading
Find me down by the river
Ever waiting
To see you down by the river

I’ve lost, I’ve lost
The purity that comes with childhood

You hate your job and your life
You may as well go and die
Monitors reading flatline
Your family’s left your side

You grab a bottle of pills
You’ve never felt more ill
You want it all to go away
But you can’t, so you just wait for the day

Lost, and fading
Find me down by the river
Ever waiting
To see you down by the river

The taste of charcoal in my mouth
I’ve never felt more helpless than I do now
My pride has been discarded
Dignity was an aftеrthought

I’m tired, of it all
Why can’t I be free again?
I’m tired, of feeling lost
You bеlieved in me ‘til the end

I feel my hold
Slipping away
And I’ve grown old
But today’s the day

I’ve lost, I’ve lost
The purity that comes with childhood

Sleep, now
Comfort has chased me away
Breathe, now
Observant you’ve wanted to stay
