Kendrick Lamar protagonista agli MTV VMA 2017, video e premi dei rapper

Ieri, 27 Agosto 2017, si è tenuta la 34ª edizione degli MTV Video Music Awards al The Forum di Inglewood (California) per i video musicali pubblicati dal 25 giugno 2016 al 23 giugno 2017. Il rap l’ha fatta da padrone, in particolare con Kendrick Lamar.

Il rapper californiano classe ’87 è stato l’artista in gara avente più nomination, otto per la precisione, basti pensare che dopo di lui c’erano Katy Perry e The Weeknd con “solo” cinque nomination per rendersi conto del successo di Lamar.
Come lecito aspettarsi, Kendrick Lamar è stato anche l’artista che ha portato a casa più statuette, sei (Video of the Year, Best Hip Hop, Best Cinematography, Best Direction, Best Art Direction, Best Visual Effects), incluso il prestigioso premio del video dell’anno. Come già detto Kendrick Lamar ha vinto 6 premi, gioie anche per Lil Uzi Vert, Gucci Mane, Young Thug, Big Sean.
